Hailing from Victoria BC, Andrew Young is a highly creative, diverse and multi talented human who happens to have his finger on the pulse of Vancouver's Art scene. A graduate of Capilano University's Illustration and Applied Arts program, Andrew comes armed with a creative skill set that rivals most. He is an internationally recognized, award winning artist and teacher, whose works have been featured in such esteemed creative sites such as, Juxtapoz, Hi- Fructose, Booooooom.com, Supersonicelectronic and BlueCanvas. When Andrew isn't busy working on commissed art or curating art openings, he's the visual arts curator for TED Talks, the founder and curator of SNAG, a weekly live art show and raffle that features the up and coming hidden gems in the Vancouver art scene. Andrew is also the youngest instructor for the Federation of Canadian Artists and he also teaches Commercial Illustration at Langara College. Andrew's work is at once emotive and provocative, pushing the boundaries of our comfort level in terms of subject and execution. He is well on his way to becoming one of the most influential artists Vancouver has to offer.
