Congratulations Peter!Meet Artist Adam Lupton Vancouver Art Attack 2013 participating artist Adam Lupton, has been accepted to the New York Academy of Art. At the New York Academy of Art, the world of visual art is built upon the essential cornerstones of figurative drawing, painting, and sculpture. Mastering these disciplines is critical to the development of an artist's personal vision and, ultimately, to the creation of vital contemporary art. This truly is an amazing opportunity for him to hone his already impressive skill set. Born and raised in Vancouver, Adam paints in oil, blurring lines between realism and expressionism, helps him probe the internal and external dialogue faced in his multi-directional narratives. Adam's vancouver Art Attack 2013 Four hour painting His recent work pits moments of choice against the visualization of their outcomes: temporal planes coexisting on a singular surface. With the notion of quantum mechanics having every possible outcome to a situation realized in splintered universes, he paints figures with varied levels of connection to reality. To question our process of free will as well as our concepts of space, time, fate, and self; if every decision comes true in one parallel life or another, are we as free as we think we are? Congratulations Adam!Keep up with Adam here -----> www.ALupton.com
Our Fresh Off The Easel live auction was a tremendous success! We sold half of our paintings, thanks to auctioneer extraordinaire Paul Becker, from Stewart Stephenson's Modern Art Gallery, located on Robson st.
Paul brought his passion for art and his amazing energy full force. The auction was a whirlwind of bidding wars and gavel cracks has he masterfully gave each piece it's time in the spot light. All I can say is amazing! I highly recommend him. We have a few pieces left over and they are for sale. 25% of the Art sales is put towards the Emily Carr University of Art & Design Vancouver Art Attack Award for Excellence in Visual Arts!
